This Summer Become a Colorado 'Cowboy or Cowgirl'

...at Colorado's All-Inclusive Dude & Guest Ranches.
Explore Specialty Weeks, New Amenities and More Activities that Meet Individual Needs and Budget.

What exactly is a 'Colorado Cowboy/Cowgirl'?  Mix one part traditional cowboy with one part Colorado active outdoor lifestyle and get the best of both worlds - a fun-filled, activity-packed Colorado dude and guest ranch vacation.

Leave the winter doldrums behind and check into an all-inclusive Colorado dude and guest ranch vacation where you can ride horses, build campfires, fish gold medal rivers, raft class 2 - 5 rivers, hike Colorado's national forests, rock climb to majestic views, mountain bike scenic trails, and more.

Our guests experience the flavor and culture of Cowboy living while enjoying the excitement and beauty of Colorado's outdoor bounty. Of course, if you simply want to relax, you can do that too.

All-Inclusive Value

Colorado dude and guest ranches offer lodging, meals, and most activities as part of a weekly rate. Each ranch has special activities that may be unique to their property such as rock climbing, hot air ballooning, or guided fishing, but guests are informed if these activities cost extra prior to arrival.

In addition to the numerous outdoor activities available, Colorado dude and guest ranches offer wine cellars and wine pairings, gourmet meals, spa treatments, yoga classes, crafts and photo workshops, petting zoos and special themed weeks such as couples retreats, culinary weekends, cowgirl weeks, and horsemanship clinics to name few.  And, most of the ranches offer extensive children's programs that will keep the kid's entertained for hours.

Book Early

Dates fill up fast, so for the best all-inclusive summer vacation value, book early. Historically, the Fourth of July, the first two weeks of August, and Labor Day weeks are among the busiest vacation times in the Colorado mountains.

Rates

Rates range from $1800-$4200 per adult/week; partial weeks and discounted children's rates may be available as well. Be sure to check for early or late season bargains as many ranches offer discounted rates the first and last weeks of summer.

Hawaii Oct . 4-13, 2013
What a wonderful Getaway!
Here is the itinerary will be on American Airlines from Raleigh.
I have attached a flyer with pricing!  We booked these lower priced oceanview rooms, but the ones left all are with obstructions outside.
An obstruction may be the Lifeboat lift, or even the Life boats.

It is not going to make a difference to me...With all the port time, I plan on spending very little time there. In Hawaii I want a window just to see what the weather is like outside.  :)

Our Balcony cabins are mid to forward locations and we still have
a few available on several decks!

Need a $600 per person deposit. Some oceanview rooms are partially obstructed, but that is what I am taking because this sailing is AWESOME...more than 90 hours in port...we sail only at night except for the last day..here's the itinerary:

Ship: Pride of America
Cruise Line: Norwegian Cruise Line
Departs: Oahu, United States  Returns: Oahu, United States
Sails: Saturday, Oct 5, 2013  Ends: Saturday, Oct 12, 2013
The prices on the flyer include the cruise, with all port taxes!
1 night in Waikiki at the Marriott Hotel; with airfare from Raleigh.

What We Love.

Spend every day in port exploring the pristine beauty of Hawaii, without sea days.

The staggering natural beauty of cascading waterfalls, active volcanoes, historic sites all with the perfect climate.

Overnights in both Maui and Kauai as well as visits to Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii.

And if you're a golfer, we've partnered with some of the best golf courses on all four islands.

  • Cherokee Weekend...it's been a long time..

Memorial Weekend.... the weather forcast seemed questionable heading south, we decided to head to the mountains. What a beautiful drive, after having traveled many counties and alot of our USA, I have to say the North Carolina scenery and the cleanliness along our highways far exceed many other places in this world! REALLY!

Recently I found an old photo. It was taken of an Indian with a feather headress standing with my brother David, my cousin Gerald, and I, I was maybe 8. It was of a family trip where we traveled to Cherokee NC, and this trip we had our photo made with an Indian in full dress just like then. It still seems very nostalgic to drive the winding roads and passing the old roadside vendors, many hadn't seemed to change a great deal, except a new paint job.

I went to Cherokee again once, right after the Harrah's Casino opened, but boy has it changed. First they are building another hotel tower at Harrah's; which is larger than the structure they have now; then the new parking structure surpasses the largest parking decks at LAX Airport! It's just very nice. Since it's all video gaming it's not really for me.....it was for 100's of people there though.

So if you're looking for a different adventure, call us; the Helicopter rides were only $20, rafting not much more...take off the the west, and vison a time when things were more simple. :-)
